When first arriving at mothercare it was near impossible to produce consistent UI work due to the fact there was no foundation to form designs upon. The original style guide had long been neglected or not shared to such a degree it did not reflect the current site primary pages.
It was imperative to highlight the benefits of implementing a new style guide to senior stakeholders, allowing for optimisation, accessibility, modern fresher feel, consistent user journey experiences & streamlined delivery.
