Initially product dimensions were buried deep within the product page, within a specification tab. For a majority of products (small boxed) this was not an issue, for white goods or larger, items dimensions and the need to measure had to be addressed. A quick solution was required which would not impact the global product page template or require additional resources.

A majority of manufacturers provide specification artworks if requested for particular models, however some do not. Currently there are no genetic standards, most use mm as a measuring unit. Imagery below highlights the diverse approach for the subject matter.

Early concept designs, a strong visual which stood out from the conventional approach was my preferred choice. Implementing a blue print schematic style was easy on the eye, give the desired standout factor and held traditional connotations. Introducing branding enforced the core narrative "We work for you" and would deter others from using the work, which is a first in class solution.
